We've gotten some inquires on Wonderjam 09 and unfortunately we're bummed to say that it won't be happening. We just relocated to Madison, WI and we're in the process of trying to find a new place to live.
We do still own the property on Phinney Farm Rd so who knows, there may be Wonderjam's out there again in the future....hopefully there will be!
For now we'll be working on a spring 2010 Wonderjam somewhere on the outskirts of Madison, WI --->> Stay Tuned!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wonderjam was such a wonderful time, thank you's go out to everyone involved but especially to Ben, Paula, Erin, Jon, Scott, Vicki, Josh, Larry, Cully, and Sylvia! Wow, the weather was calm all day long and it allowed for some great connections to be formed at the Jam including tons of late night conversations. Thanks again to the bands - Beam Me Up, Jp and the Other Two, HUAK!, DJ Zoran, DJ Corey, Raw Chicken!!! (Luke you got a killer bluegrass voice), and of course Bootiddy who got our butt's shakin' to end the evening. We are so thankful for everyone who came out and experienced Wonderjam, hopefully you got a good taste of things to come, stay tuned there are plenty more Wonderjam's on the horizon....
Wonderjam 08 Lincoln Maine
Wonderjam is a festival being held on
Saturday September 27th
in Lincoln, Maine. The festival will feature music,
peace
and a spreading of alternative energy consciousness. Regardless if it rains WONDERJAM IS STILL ON!!!! We have a large tent that will encompass our stage and keep our festival attendees dry! Don't let the rain stop you from joining us tomorrow, we have a GREAT lineup of bands and groups. We also will have a few food vendors so don't worry about bringing food! Come join us on Phinney Farm Road tomorrow, starting at 1PM!!!
Updates!
Yes - Wonderjam is arriving shortly! We have a GREAT lineup
of bands intending on filling our heads with interesting soundscapes. Here is what the lineup looks like....
1:00 -- Beam
Me Up - Indie Rock from Orono
2:00 -- JP
and
the Other Two - Contemporary Rock from Bangor
3:00 -- Huak - Post Pop Punk from Portland
4:00 -- DJ Zoran Djuranovic
5:00 -- DJ Corey Pelletier
6:00 -- Raw Chicken - bluegrass from Old Town
7:00 -- Bootiddy -- Electronica/Dance/Crunk from Orono
Yes we are planning on playing until 8pm. Ok, so
we've gotten a lot of questions about what will Wonderjam look like in
terms of a landscape.....Well, I want to make this clear...it's not a
HUGE place...Wonderjam will be held in a field behind my home in
Lincoln. We have 10 acres of woods to roam and a
beautiful area to relax and enjoy the day. Wonderjam will NOT
be a festival mecca of corn dogs and fried elephant ears. It
WILL be a place where you can bring a cooler of beer, learn about alternative energy, meet some cool people and listen to some great music!
It will be an intimate and cozy experience in the north woods of
Maine...we surely hope you'll join us. And yes there will be camping available!
If you have any further questions about anything here's who to
Wonderjam is looking for interested
groups
Would you like to showcase your Peace group,
Alternative Energy Company or your LARGE or small visual art?
We have room for 25 different groups on site. We'd
love to
have you showing off your technology, spreading
awareness of how you live more sustainably or even demonstrating
something you've been working on. The cost to have a booth at
Wonderjam is free!!! If you're a vendor aiming to sell something at the
Wonderjam there will be a small vendor fee to support the cost of the fest. Email us at joe@wonderjam.org or better yet post something in our forums section...see the link on the top tool bar!
Our intention is
to spread
awareness of "backyard tinkering" - specifically the ways in
which people are harnessing renewable energies to power their lives.
Also, do you have some wild artwork that you'd love to show off? Maybe something in a large space or within a forest?
Or maybe you've been working on a solar collector?
Maybe
a solar hot water system? Have you looked into HHO, aka
Brown's
Gas, or using Hydrogen as a supplement to your gasoline powered car?
We would love to have you show off your projects, art and business at
Wonderjam. If you are interested in one of our 25 spots
please
email us at joe@wonderjam.org
